Your core gets you in. Your browser finds the proof. The contract checks it and credits your ANIM. Here is how this little experiment works.

  1. Pick up your core.

    Get an Animus Pass on Robinhood Chain. The mint price is zero; you pay the network gas fee. Each address can mint once, with 128 passes in the collection.

  2. Clock in.

    The pass owner opens a session with an onchain transaction. Its challenge becomes available after the next L2 block and is tied to the owner, pass, and session.

  3. Let your browser do its thing.

    A background worker tries SHA-256 hashes until it finds a valid result. This computation happens on your device. Hardware speed and chance affect how long a solution takes.

  4. Submit the proof.

    Your wallet submits the result. The contract checks the work, ownership, and session expiry. An accepted proof credits 10 ANIM, provided the reward pool has enough unreserved tokens.

  5. Make that ANIM yours.

    A separate claim transaction transfers your credited ANIM to your wallet. After an accepted proof, the pass has a 15-second cooldown before its next session.

One pool. Plenty to discover.

Mining distributes ANIM from a preallocated pool. It does not increase the token supply. When a proof is accepted, the contract reserves 10 ANIM for its miner; a later claim transfers that reservation to their wallet.

If fewer than 10 unreserved ANIM remain, the contract stops accepting new sessions and proofs. Existing credits remain claimable. Tokens transferred back to the mining contract can replenish its available pool.

ANIM is an experimental reward token. There is no guaranteed market value, cash yield, or ETH backing. The prototype has no buyback mechanism or trading-fee distribution.

Animus is deployed on Robinhood Chain, chain ID 4663. These explorer links identify the live NFT and mining contract, and its reward token.

An unaudited experiment. Smart contracts and the interface may contain bugs. Mainnet actions spend real network gas, including transactions that revert.

What does it cost to participate?

The protocol charges no mint, clock-in, proof, or claim fee. Each onchain transaction still requires a network gas fee paid in ETH. Running the browser worker also uses your device's computing resources.

Does owning a core earn me ANIM?

No. You need to open a session, find a valid proof, and submit it before the session expires. Only an accepted proof creates an ANIM credit.

Is everyone mining at the same speed?

No. The browser performs real computation, so device performance affects its hash rate. Finding a proof also involves chance. The reward for an accepted proof is fixed, regardless of how quickly you found it.

What if I miss the session window?

Its challenge can no longer be used to submit a proof. You can clock in again to create a new session and start fresh work. Clocking in again is another transaction with a network gas fee.

What happens when I transfer my pass?

A transfer to a different owner cancels unfinished work. Rewards already credited stay with the miner who earned them. The new owner starts their own session, subject to any remaining cooldown.

Does my pass hold a wallet or tokenized stocks?

No. Animus Pass is an ERC-721 access NFT. It has no ERC-6551 wallet and contains no tokenized stocks. Claimed ANIM goes directly to the wallet that earned the credit.

Is this mining the Robinhood blockchain?

No. The work belongs to the Animus application. It does not produce Robinhood Chain blocks or earn the chain's validator rewards. The browser finds a proof that the Animus contract can verify.

Can I try it with test tokens first?

The mining room includes a Local Demo when this project is running locally. It uses a separate simulated chain and test funds. Local passes and rewards have no connection to the mainnet deployment.
